Titus

Why is Good Friday 'Good'

From a human point of view, Jesus being executed by Roman crucifixtion was an unbelievably painful and gruesome way to die. Nothing about it was 'Good'. Yet, from Jesus's perpective it achieved the only way to create a bridge between man and God.

Nathanael - I See You

Richard speaks from John 1:43-50, where Philip introduces Nathanael to Jesus. Nathanael was very sceptical at first but because of the encouragement of his friend Philip, Nathanael becomes one of Jesus’ disciples. Sometimes we too can be sceptical about what is happening around us but we should not give up; just maybe God is outworking his mysterious plans in our lives. Or maybe we need to be a Philip to encourage someone around us who is struggling to believe.
